Goddess Matangi is the ninth of the ten Mahavidya. Goddess Matangi is also worshipped in the forms of Raja Matangi, Sumukhi Matangi, Uchchishta Matangi, Vashyamatangi and Karnamatangi. Goddess Matangi is also popular as Tantric Saraswati because of Her similarities to Goddess Saraswati in many characteristics. Rati, Preeti, Manobhava, Kriya, Kshudha, Ananga Kusum, Ananga Madan and Madan Lasa are the eight Shakti of Goddess Matangi.
