According to the Amanta Hindu calendar, Krishna Paksha Chaturthi of Pausha month (Purnimanta Magha month) is celebrated as day of Lambodara Sankashti. On the day of Lambodar Sankashti, a fast is observed for Lord Ganesha and His Lambodara form is worshipped.
