Navagraha Temples of Kumbakonam

The Navagraha temples are nine temples near Kumbakonam, each dedicated to a planetary deity: Suryanar Kovil (Sun), Thingalur (Moon), Vaitheeswaran Kovil (Mars), Thiruvenkadu (Mercury), Alangudi (Jupiter), Kanjanur (Venus), Thirunallar (Saturn), Thirunageswaram (Rahu), and Keeperumbudur (Ketu). Together they form the Navagraha circuit.

You can visit all nine for a complete remedy (sarvagraha shanti) or focus on the temple of the planet affecting you, as per your janma kundali or astrologer’s advice. Many devotees do the full circuit for overall peace and blessing.
