Shani knew his powerful gaze could cause harm. Because of fear, he avoided looking directly at the child. Parvati became curious about Shani’s strange behavior. She questioned why he was avoiding the celebration. Shani explained his fear with hesitation and humility. He warned that his gaze might unintentionally hurt the child. Parvati did not believe any harm would happen. She insisted that Shani should look at the baby.

Lord Vishnu immediately acted to save the child. He brought the head of an elephant using his divine powers.
