According to the Amanta Hindu calendar, Krishna Paksha Chaturthi of Shravana month (Purnimanta Bhadrapada month) is celebrated as day of Heramba Sankashti. On the day of Heramba Sankashti Chaturthi, Heramba Ganapati form, one of the 32 forms of Lord Ganesha, is worshipped. Lord Heramba is depicted with five heads and ten arms.
