The Tithis on which creation started after each Pralaya are known as Manvadi or Manuadi Tithis. In one Kalpa it will happen fourteen times, hence there are fourteen Manus (the first human being) and fourteen Manvadi Tithis. At present we are in Vaivasvata Manuantara. All above Manvadi Tithis should be avoided in Upanayana, starting education, marriage, construction, entering into a house and journey. These Tithis are considered good for taking holy dip in rivers, Havana, giving donations, performing Shradh and other religious activities. According to Hindu religion, the Tithis on which the creation begins after every Pralaya are called Manvadi or Manuadi Tithis. On these , religious rituals like bathing in rivers, Havan, donation, Shradh, Tarpan etc. are performed.

According to the Vedic period division, Kalpadi Days are related to the beginning of Kalpa. According to the Hindu calendar, there are seven Kalpaadi days in a year including the days of Ugadi and Akshaya Tritiya. Special religious activities are performed on this day. According to the Vedic division, Yugadi dates indicate the starting days of the four Yugas. According to the Hindu calendar, there are four Yugadi dates. Brahma Ji, the creator of the universe is worshipped on the occasion of Yugadi.
