Arulmigu Thirumalai Kumaraswamy Temple (Visakam Star) ✓

This is the dedicated star temple for the Visakam nakshatra (Sanskrit Vishakha), ruled by Jupiter (Guru). People born under Visakam traditionally worship here as their parihara (remedy) sthalam.

The presiding deity is Lord Muthukumaraswamy (Murugan). Lord Murugan is worshipped here as Muthukumaraswamy at the Thirumalai hill shrine, the Visakam star deity of the Tenkasi region. The Goddess worshipped here is Valli and Devasena.
