About Sri Lakshmi Padmavathi Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple
Sri Lakshmi Padmavathi Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, located at Vykuntapuram near Tenali in Guntur district, is a revered Vaishnavite shrine dedicated to Lord Venkateswara Swamy along with Goddess Lakshmi and Padmavathi Amma. The temple also features a sacred shrine dedicated to Sri Nagendra Swamy. According to temple history, Sri Tulluru Bala Narasimha Rao Gowda received a divine vision from the serpent deity, instructing him to build the temple at its present location. With generous public support and his own contributions, the temple was constructed near the Nizampatnam Canal. Although development began in 1961, the idols were ceremoniously consecrated in June 1972 according to the Vaikhanasa Agama traditions. The temple later came under the administration of the Endowments Department in 1973. Today, it stands as an important pilgrimage destination where devotees seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara for peace, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.
