Adi Narayana Perumal Temple (Mirugasesam Star) ✓

This is the dedicated star temple for the Mrigasirisha nakshatra (Sanskrit Mrigashira), ruled by Mars (Chevvai). People born under Mrigasirisha traditionally worship here as their parihara (remedy) sthalam.

The presiding deity is Lord Adi Narayana (Vishnu). Lord Vishnu is worshipped here as Adi Narayana Perumal, the primordial protector, appearing in the sanctum mounted upon Garuda — a rare and striking form among Vishnu temples. The Goddess worshipped here is Sridevi and Boodevi.
